A fledgling Ole Miss team limps back home Saturday after back-to-back road losses to Arkansas and LSU, only to find yet another Tiger clawing up the furniture and disregarding the litter box. That’s right, it’s Auburn week.
It seems like so long ago — and indeed A LOT of bad football has transpired since — but the last time the Rebels appeared fully in command of their faculties was back on Sept. 24 against Georgia. They then gave everyone a scare against Memphis, and with two weeks to prepare for BERT and Arkansas, they failed that test miserably.
