It’s unclear exactly Javon Patterson’s injury occurred. Coach Hugh Freeze did not mention him in a list of several players with injury concerns after Saturday’s Grove Bowl.
Patterson started six games at guard as a true freshman and started all 12 games last season, at either center or guard.
Ole Miss returns four full-time starters along its offensive line, and it should be the strongest position group on the team.
