Ole Miss softball (8-2) has had a whirlwind first two weeks of the season. They first went to the Sand Dollar Classic in Gulf Shores where they finished with a 3-1 record in the event. The following week they set out for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to compete in the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. The Rebels finished the weekend taking 3 out of 4 games with their finale being a 1-0, 9 inning win over then No.3 Oregon.
Now when the Rebels were finally headed home to play in Oxford, things changed. Instead of playing host in the 2018 Red and Blue Classic which was to begin this Friday and run into the weekend.
