Coach Mike Smith and Ole Miss softball were in action this past weekend in California as they participated in the Stacey Winsberg Memorial Tourney in Westwood. The Rebels were scheduled to play 6 games beginning with Loyola Marymount but the game was cancelled because of rain. The Rebels played just 5 games and picked up 3 wins.
Ole Miss softball began the tourney strong collecting 3 huge wins. The wins came over UC Riverside, Cal Poly and Oregon State in their first three games. However, the Rebels had to deal with UCLA and Boise State in which both games unfortunately ended up in the loss column for the Rebels.
