Coach Mike Smith and No.10 Ole Miss softball (31-11) have had an incredible 2019 season thus far. Ole Miss entered the Tuesday night matchup against UT-Martin (25-20) coming off a SEC series against Missouri in which the Rebels picked up a doubleheader sweep Friday night but dropped game-three Sunday. The Rebels looked impressive Tuesday night and it was all Ole Miss.
The Rebels wasted no time getting started and scored 1 run in the bottom of the first to take the early 1-0 lead. Ole Miss then piled on 8 runs in the bottom of the second to push their lead to 9-0.
