Ole Miss reportedly is mulling over the future of coach Hugh Freeze, sources told 247Sports during the NFL Combine on Thursday.
The news comes just one week after the program offered a one-year self-imposed probation as punishment for its 21 NCAA violations under the coach.
According to 247Sports, one camp within the program believes Freeze should be retained regardless of whether the NCAA adds any more sanctions to the Rebels football program – including an additional year of probation – based on “loyalty.”
“They say, ‘Well, he took us to the Promised Land in winning a Sugar Bowl and beating Bama twice.
