Ole Miss released the NCAA’s Notice of Allegations, which the school received in late January, on Friday morning. Ole Miss released a “Overview of the Case” graphic that includes, among other things, the school’s self-imposed penalties and the next steps in the case.
There are 13 allegations against the football team, with three current assistants – defensive line coach Chris Kiffin, tight ends coach Maurice Harris and running backs coach Derrick Nix – named in the allegations. The 13 allegations cover a period from 2010-15 (Hugh Freeze became coach in late 2011), and eight of them are what the NCAA terms Level I, a severe breach of conduct.
