What a week the last two hours have been. Following news that Houston Nutt’s lawsuit against Ole Miss and the athletics foundation had been dismissed in U.S. district court in Mississippi, the university prudently dropped the added bombshell of its full case summary with the NCAA and its much-anticipated hearing with the Committee on Infractions. That meeting will take place on Sept. 11, 2017 — a Monday — not five days before Ole Miss is set to grapple with Cal out in Berkeley for their obligatory out-of-conference Power 5 matchup of the season.
