Despite the season heading into the month of October, recruiting is still going strong. Ole Miss received some really good news this week after the No. 1 outside linebacker in the country announced his top eight teams he's considering and the Rebels are still in the mix. Five-star Lyndell Wilson of Montgomery, Ala. and Carver High School released his top choices via Twitter on Wednesday and has the Rebels in the mix along with Florida, Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Ohio State, Oregon and Southern Cal.
Wilson, a 6'2, 220-pound monster for the Carver Wolverines, is a bit of a new name for Rebel fans on the crootin front, but offensive line coach Matt Luke is Wilson's primary recruiter and he and the Ole Miss program have Wilson's full attention now after their huge win in Tuscaloosa in September.
