As a state school receiving public money, the University of Mississippi is required by law to publicly post all job openings. That includes “Head Football Coach.” The Landsharks – seriously, is that what we’re supposed to start referring to the school’s athletic teams as – did just that, formally posting a “want ad” for Hugh Freeze’s replacement on the school’s human resources site October 7th.
Ole Miss lists the job description as: The Head Football Coach will organize and direct all aspects of the NCAA Division I Football program.
Responsibilities include: The selected candidate will organize and direct all aspects of the NCAA Division I Football program.
