OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss took some strides and got some things done during spring practice.
When you ask Hugh Freeze what most impressed him about his players through 15 workouts, it wasn’t the play of junior college transfer quarterback Jordan Ta’amu. It wasn’t the energy of defensive tackle Breeland Speaks or the consistency of Myles Hartsfield in his move to cornerback.
It was what his players said and how they carried themselves.
“Without question it was the attitude, the attitude of how they handled disappointment that was the biggest encouragement to me, and it tells me a lot about what we’re doing inside the walls of our building,” Freeze said.
