Ole Miss baseball pitchers Doug Nikhazy and Taylor Broadway formed one of the best trios in college baseball with first round draft pick Gunnar Hoglund in 2021. On Monday, the one, two starter, closer punch joined Hoglund as they were taken on the second day of the 2021 MLB Draft.
Nikhazy was selected 58th overall in the second round by the Cleveland Indians and Broadway went in the 6th round to the Chicago White Sox, joining former Rebel Lance Lynn on the South Side of the Windy City.
Nikhazy was a unanimous All-American this season, joining only three other former Ole Miss players to earn that distinction.
