Three-star cornerback Jamar Richardson committed to Ole Miss on Monday, he announced on Twitter.
The 5-foot-11½, 167-pound Richardson, an Aliceville, Alabama native, chose the Rebels over offers from Mississippi State, Missouri, Louisville and Wake Forest.
For Ole Miss, it’s the second straight day it’s landed a commitment from the state of Alabama. On Sunday, three-star safety AJ Harris, a Madison, Alabama native, committed to the Rebels.
Overall, Richardson gives Ole Miss its 13th commitment in the 2017 class, and third in two days. Junior college defensive end Jay Johnson, like Harris, also committed Sunday.
