Ole Miss took a trip across state lines to secure its latest commitment, landing three-star cornerback JaKorey Hawkins out of Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, AL.
Hawkins is clearly in the “Land Shark” spirit as evidenced by his Twitter post.
24/7 Sports considers Hawkins one of the 20 best cornerback prospects in the state of Alabama. Hawkins held offers from numerous top football programs including Auburn, South Carolina and Penn State.
Ole Miss now has 10 prospects committed to its 2018 class which ranks 76th nationally and 14th – last – in the SEC according to 24/7 Sports.
