ESPN announced their week one opening slate lineup on Tuesday, putting the Ole Miss Rebels in primetime on Monday, September 6th at 7pm CST. The Rebels and Lane Kiffin will face Scott Satterfield and the Louisville Cardinals at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. on that Monday in primetime against the Cardinals and Scott Satterfield.
The matchup pits a second-year coach against a third-year coach on a huge stage in the Peach State. This is the second time Ole Miss will be competing in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff. In 2014, the Rebels blew out the Boise State Broncos, 35-21, to open that banner year.
