Ole Miss football had found itself in the unique position of coming off a SEC road win over the Wildcats in Lexington. Being at home against a Sun Belt conference opponent had some of us anxious to watch more of the explosive Rebel offense.
It would be a chance for the Rebels to get back to .500 on the season. But even more it would give Ole Miss football a chance to establish some element of momentum going into the final two games of a dismal season. Of course, those two games are SEC West opponents, Texas A&M and Miss State.
