We all know there are never any easy nights playing in Death Valley and Saturday night was a rough night for Ole Miss football. The Ole Miss Rebels (3-2, 0-2) fell to the No.5 LSU Tigers (5-0, 2-0) in a 45-16 rout. The Rebels were coming into Baton Rouge off a 38-17 win over Kent State while LSU was coming off a 38-21 win over Louisiana Tech.
In front of a crowd of 100,224 Ole Miss struck first with a Luke Logan FG in the 1st quarter to take the 3-0 lead. The Rebels defense couldn’t find an answer to the LSU offense and trailed 14-3 headed into the 2nd quarter.
