Ole Miss commences fall camp this week, and it should prove to be one of, if not the most, exciting fall camps in the country this year. Scandal, resignation, coaching shakeups, players returning from injury — all of this makes for high, high palace intrigue.
Or in the case of Rebel running back Jordan Wilkins, he’s returning from a year of lost eligibility, due to a microscopic SNAFU on the part of the athletics department’s academic advising armature. That certainly stung at the time, and rippled far into Ole Miss’ 2016 campaign, which saw the team average just under 150 rushing yards per game.
