While Ole Miss football fans were still in shell shock over the first half of the 76-41 blowout over Southern Illinois there were NFL Rebels looking to kick off their regular seasons on a positive note. With 25 NFL Rebels on active rosters we expected to see a number of them in action over the first weekend of the 2018 NFL season and we weren’t disappointed.
Probably the biggest storyline of the first NFL Rebels regular season weekend was that of former Ole Miss running-back Jordan Wilkins. Wilkins who is in his rookie season made his first NFL start for the Colts in their season opener.
