Ole Miss football stepped up recruiting over the past few weeks since the Egg Bowl. One of their main focuses has been targeting some of the top defensive talent available. One of those top defensive players is James Williams. Out of Callaway High School in Jackson, Mississippi Williams is one of the top defensive ends in the state.
Of course, Williams was a solid commit to Miss State until former Bulldogs head coach Dan Mullen left for Gainesville. Ole Miss needed a strong defensive end to shore up their defense and they found the player in James Williams.
