Tuesday coach Matt Luke and Ole Miss football finished their ninth spring practice. The Rebels had a closed scrimmage Saturday which coach Luke believes was the best scrimmage the Rebels have had so far. In the Tuesday practice the Rebels worked to clean up mistakes and hit on the finer points from the Saturday scrimmage.
Thanks to David Johnson at OMSpirit we learned more about the Saturday scrimmage and heard about some of the Rebels who stood out. From what we gather the Rebels defense stood out the most in the scrimmage with JUCO transfer LB Sam Williams intercepting a pass for a pick-six.
