Sunday while Ole Miss football fans were still enjoying Saturdays 76-41 blowout of Southern Illinois the NFL was in the first weekend of the 2018 regular season. With 25 NFL Rebels on active rosters we knew there were a number of former Rebels who would see the field in the opening weekend. With a number of those entering their rookie seasons we had been watching them thru the preseason and hoping they would get their shots.
