A source close to the NCAA's investigation of Ole Miss told David Brandt of the Associated Press that 13 of the 28 allegations levied against the school pertain to football and that nine of those pertain to the current coaching staff.
That's a different story than the one we heard in the hours and days following the initial news of the allegations. Two weeks ago, the overriding message coming from sources within the Ole Miss athletics department was that the overwhelming majority of the allegations are tied to track and women's soccer, and of those that are tied to football, most came under the old Houston Nutt staff.
