Coach Matt Luke has now filled the vacant Ole Miss football offensive coordinator position with the hiring of Rich Rodriguez. Monday it was announced Rodriguez would be the new offensive coordinator for Ole Miss football filling the position vacated by coach Phil Longo who left Oxford for the same position at North Carolina.
With 32 years of coaching experience Rich Rodriguez brings a wealth of offensive knowledge to the Rebels staff. Rodriguez was previously head coach at West Virginia, Michigan and Arizona most recently. While at Arizona Rodriguez spearheaded one of the top offenses in the Pac-12 and the nation and brought the Wildcats their first 10 win season in over 15 years.
