For Ole Miss to be among the top SEC teams in several different offensive categories is huge and it was a win over Texas Tech which matters.
The Rebels were one of five SEC teams who played out of the normal season opening comfort zone of a far lesser opponent. The Rebels faced a defense expected to be one of the best in the Big12 this season while other SEC offenses were getting fat on cupcakes.
