Ole Miss football 2016: The strengths and weaknesses

As coach Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss football team prepare for the 2016 season, here are the biggest strengths and weaknesses heading into fall camp.

Biggest positive: The passing game. The combination of QB Chad Kelly and a receiving corps full of talent should light up the scoreboard. Ole Miss lost WRs Laquon Treadwell and Cody Core; they combined for 120 catches and 15 TDs. But there is plenty of talent remaining. WRs Quincy Adeboyejo and Damore’ea Stringfellow and TE Evan Engram figure to be the top targets. Joining the passing party will be Van Jefferson, Markell Pack and highly touted freshmen D.
