Ole Miss fans have just one complaint with Fernando Mendoza winning Heisman Trophy

Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza broke new ground on Saturday night as he secured the Heisman Trophy with 2,362 first-place votes, the first in the history of the Indiana Hoosiers to do so.

It was another landslide victory for Mendoza over Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia (1,435 votes), Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love (719 votes) and Ohio State's Julian Sayin (432 votes).

Mendoza's elite performance all season long called for the un-parallelled accolade.
