Offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche were the star attractions at Ole Miss pro day. Treadwell was the only one of the three to run the 40-yard dash; the other two did position drills.
Treadwell’s unofficial times in the 40 were disappointing: 4.65 and 4.60 seconds. That said, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze told reporters that Treadwell’s relative lack of speed doesn’t matter.
“If you’re looking for just a guy that can run a straight line fast, then that’s not what he is,” Freeze said.
