It will be only the second time Ole Miss and Baylor have ever met on the hardwood, with the Bears winning the only matchup on a neutral court back in 1971. The 2016 challenge saw the Rebels fall to Kansas State on the road, while Baylor hosted and defeated Georgia.
Ole Miss would go on to finish 20-12(10-8) on the season, missing the postseason entirely, while the Bears finished 22-12(10-8) and made the NCAA Tournament as a number five seed.
Though the Bears were eliminated in the round of 64 in the Big Dance this past season, they have been advanced to the sweet sixteen in three of the last seven seasons.
