Despite an early exit from Nashville coach Kermit Davis and Ole Miss basketball are expecting a selection spot in the NCAA Tourney. Today the Rebels will learn their fate as they await selection with a watch party scheduled in Oxford. Where the Rebels will land remains to be seen but we do know the Rebels will be playing in the postseason be it in the Big Dance or possibly the NIT.
While the latter may not be what Rebels fans want to hear it is still possible the Rebels might not make the NCAA Tourney. After what we watched throughout the SEC Tourney we know Auburn is in because of winning the SEC Championship.
