Well, look at the Ole Miss Rebels, back at it again teetering on the NCAA tournament bubble. After a doom and gloom weekend in Gainesville, the Rebels looked to be dead in the proverbial water. Then it REALLY looked bad when the Texas A&M Aggies strolled into Oxford, on graduation weekend no less, and stomped the Rebs 12-5 on Friday night. But, the good guys (31-21, 13-14 SEC) circled the wagons and found a way to back end another series in order to keep their postseason dreams from flat-lining.
As a team, the offense has been the main thorn in Ole Miss’ side this season but it appears that they are making a slow but steady rise to better at-bats and production.
