Ole Miss baseball posts big win over Alabama

An impressive offensive display Friday night drove the Rebels to a 7-2 home victory over Alabama. From the fourth inning on, the Rebels registered nine hits, two of which were home runs. Tim Rowe was excellent at the plate, going 2-2 at the plate with two RBI and a home run.

James McArthur started on the mound for the Rebels, sporting a 2.00 ERA. McArthur looked shaky during the early innings, walking the leadoff hitter, but quickly settled.

“In the first and a little of the second just struggled to find the strike zone, maybe overthrowing a little bit and underthrowing a little bit after that,” said James McArthur.
