Ole Miss baseball returned home off the road from the series against the Long Beach State Dirtbags for the beginning of two midweek games. The first was Tuesday night against Austin Peay with the second game tonight against Little Rock. Coming off a series win on the West Coast we were anxious to see how the Rebels would respond from the long road trip.
The Rebels wasted no time getting started and saw a 2-0 lead entering the 3rd. Austin Peay got on the board in the top of the 3rd with a lone run. However, the Rebels responded and added 3 more runs in the bottom of the frame to lead 5-1.
