No.4 Ole Miss baseball was coming off a game-two loss to Bama and was looking for some help as they went for the SEC West title. The Rebels needed a win at Bama and some help from UGA to secure the SEC West. Of course, rubber games are never fun and especially on the road so the Rebels were under pressure to secure the series.
Ole Miss jumped out front early with 2 runs in the top of the 1st to take the 2-0 lead. The Tide answered with runs in the bottom of the 1st and 2nd to tie the game at 2-2.
