After a not so surprising loss to Auburn we knew Ole Miss baseball (43-15) would bounce back big against the Georgia Bulldogs (37-19). Of course, Thursday mornings game was the first elimination game in the SEC Tourney. With their backs against the wall and fighting a 2 hour rain and lightening delay the Rebels struck hard in a long crazy tight game and eliminated Georgia from the tourney and Hoover.
The Rebels jumped on the board first with a solo homer in the bottom of the 1st. Ole Miss maintained the 1-0 lead thru 3.5 innings.
