The Ole Miss Rebels added a win and two losses to their season against LSU over the weekend, dropping their SEC record to 7-8.
Thursday night in Baton Rouge, the Rebels dropped their first game of the weekend 15-2 to the surging Tigers.
A combination of poor pitching and even weaker hitting kept the Rebels behind from start to finish. Throughout the game, Ole Miss could not control the Tigers’ impressive offense as their pitching staff saw the same number of doubles as they did strikeouts (3). The added misery of a sixth inning LSU grand slam added insult to injury for head coach Mike Bianco’s men.
