Tate Blackman is a Ole Miss baseball fan favorite. From his crazy haircut right down to his tremendous glove, we all love to see Tate come thru in the clutch. Of course, it hasn’t been a complete joyride for Blackman so far this season, as he has struggled thru somewhat of a slump. Honestly, the only thing worse than seeing us lose games is seeing a great hitter suffer at the plate.
Well, Rebel faithful can breathe a sigh of relief for Tate and the team. Yesterday afternoon, with the game tied 4-4 and 1 away in the bottom of the 9th inning, Tate crushed a bomber in the left field lounge.
