Ole Miss assistant football recruiting director Branden Wenzel has resigned to pursue a career in athletic administration, a decision the school told the Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger has nothing to do with the NCAA allegations the school is facing.
Wenzel was in charge of on-campus recruiting for the Rebels.
The Ole Miss football program reportedly has been charged with 13 NCAA violations; nine are said to have occurred during Hugh Freeze’s tenure.
