Representing your country at the highest level of international competition pretty cool, y'all.
This week marked the beginning of the FIFA Women's World Cup, the once-every-four-years spectacle generally regarded to be the most significant women's athletic competition outside of the Olympics. The 2015 version of this competition is being held in the country of our lovely, albeit boring neighbors to the north, as 24 of the world's best international soccer teams meet in Canada to take home a really ugly trophy.
Among these 24 competing nations is, unsurprisingly, Brazil. Surprising to some though is the presence of an Ole Miss alumna on the Brazilian squad.
