Rudolph had foot surgery less than a week ago, but it sounds like he'll be back on the field to face Ole Miss on New Year's Day.
Had Baylor beaten Texas on Saturday, Ole Miss would have ended up playing a third-string quarterback (or hell, maybe even a wide receiver that played some QB in high school) in the Sugar Bowl. It doesn't look like the Rebs will be so lucky against Oklahoma State.
Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy told the Tulsa World on Saturday afternoon that he expects starter Mason Rudolph, who underwent surgery for a fractured foot on Monday, to be ready by the bowl game.
