The Rebels (21-4, 0-1 SEC) took an early lead in the second, scoring a run on a single to center by Alyssa Gonzalez.

In the third, the Aggies (23-2, 3-1 SEC) responded with two runs to take a 2-1 lead. Texas A&M loaded the bases with one out on two walks and a hit by pitch. Sarah Hudek drove in Tori Vidales on a double off the wall, before Ashley Walters scored on a wild pitch.

Ole Miss evened the game in the fourth, taking advantage of a two-out throwing error, which allowed Sarah Van Schaik to score.
