Alabama
Alabama will travel 15 athletes (11 men, 4 women) and one relay team to Eugene, Ore., to compete in the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Tide has entries in the NCAA Championships ranging across all disciplines: seven throwers (six men, one woman) qualified in four events, including 2016 SEC discus champion Daniel Haugh. The sophomore led an Alabama sweep of the medals at the SEC meet in Tuscaloosa on May 14 as the Tide finished 1-2-3-5 in the event. Freshman Kord Ferguson will compete in both the discus and the shot put.
