The NCAA can take a bow. Its investigation into the Ole Miss football program now stretches past four years and there appears to be no end in sight.
The probe already has delivered massive blows to the Hugh Freeze-led Rebels, and the Committee on Infractions has yet to meet, let alone render a verdict.
No matter the outcome, the NCAA investigation already has severely damaged Ole Miss.
A hearing date has not even been finalized, crippling the 2017 recruiting class. Ole Miss’ 2017 class is ranked 57th nationally by 247 Sports, which makes them last in the SEC.
