The Southeastern Conference announced its yearly Women’s Basketball Awards on Tuesday, March 5, and the list included a couple of outstanding Lady Rebels: senior guard/forward Madison Scott and senior guard Marquesha Davis, who were both nominated to the All-SEC First Team.
Alongside Scott and Davis, Alabama’s Sarah Ashlee Barker, LSU’s Aneesah Morrow and Angel Reese, South Carolina’s Kamila Cardoso, Auburn’s Honesty Scott-Grayson and Tennessee’s Rickea Jackson also received first-team recognition.
This means that only Ole Miss and LSU had two players on the first team.
The star-studded duo has spearheaded a 180-degree flip of the Ole Miss Women’s Basketball program.
