Hugh Freeze reiterated yesterday that Tony Conner and Fadol Brown will have surgery soon and will not play in the Sugar Bowl.
Safety C.J. Hampton is still recovering from a stinger, and Freeze is optimistic that Hampton will play.
He said that senior linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche is likely done, that he does “not anticipate” the older playing but that he’s “doing well.”
