The injuries seem to be stacking up on top of each other for Ole Miss wing Luis Rodgriuez.
Head coach Kermit Davis said on Tuesday that the sophomore will need surgery on his wrist on Friday and is likely to miss an extended period of spring training after the season.
“We just found out about it. It’s just something that maybe happened in the Texas scrimmage,” Davis said. “He was through it and just caught a ball the other day in practice when he just came back.”
Rodriguez had just returned to practice from a foot injury suffered during shootaround before the Rebels’ game against Penn State in New York back in November.
