Laquon Treadwell says he was ‘playing on one leg’ in 2015

Laquon Treadwell set Ole Miss single-season records for receptions, receiving yards and TD receptions last season, but he said he never was 100 percent.

I wasn’t 100 percent in anything I did from the beginning of spring ball (in 2015) to pro day (at Ole Miss on March 28),” Treadwell told the St. Paul Pioneer Press. “I was playing on one leg my whole junior season. Last year wasn’t fun going out and being hurt and trying to play.”

Treadwell – who was the No. 23 pick, by the Minnesota Vikings, in the 2016 NFL draft – sustained a broken left leg and a dislocated left ankle on November 1, 2014, in a loss to Auburn.
