Treadwell was clocked in unofficial times of 4.65 and 4.60 seconds in the 40. Those are disappointing times for Treadwell and any team that is considering him as a top-10 pick. Treadwell did not run the 40 at February’s NFL Scouting Combine.
Treadwell has been linked with the receiver-needy Los Angeles Rams, who select in the middle of the first round, and Rams GM Les Snead was in attendance Monday.
Treadwell (6 feet 2, 221 pounds) remains an appealing prospect because of his size, good hands and physical nature. He was scheduled to do positional drills later in the day.
