There will be thousands and thousands of words about Lane Kiffin’s return to Knoxville this Saturday when Ole Miss and Tennessee square off in Neyland Stadium.
The history is there between the coach and the school. We’ve all heard the story hundreds of times by now and how it is painted in puke orange drama. I mean, his son is named Knox for Pete’s sake - there’s a lot of symbolism and what not happening here.
But does this game truly mean more for the second year head coach at Ole Miss? I think it kind of has to, though it’s not about revenge or showing the program he left what he has become as a ball coach.
