When the Ole Miss Rebels defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide last season, defensive tackle Chris Williams was inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. He took part in the celebration after the Rebels’ 23-17 win. He even saw the goal post come down.
The Ole Miss signee for the class of 2014 wasn’t on the sidelines with the rest of his signing class, he was in the stands. It was one of several Ole Miss home games the 6-foot-1, 285-pound Williams attended.
Last fall, Williams was starting his career at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia.
